Can we really escape reality?

Conclusion
I know not yet whether or not you could escape reality simply by playing Outcast. It's definitely a good time of the year to do so, it is summer now, and school is out. I have a feeling Outcast will suck up a lot of my time whenever I get to try the game, and I look forward to the day I do. Infogrames has published many successful hits for both Playstation and PC, and Appeal is an ambitious company with obvious talent. With the artificial intelligence the way it will be and with the numerous amount of ways available in solving even a simple problem, I have no doubt Outcast will be a fun and unique game to play with lots of replay value.

The story and main character may be somewhat generic, but that is no reason not to like the game itself. If a box of cereal has a toucan on it that's an obvious rip of "Toucan Sam" and the cereal is called "Frooty Loops"…well, it doesn't mean it is just a blatant rip of Fruit Loops. You need to try them out before you make that call. And when one of those generic cereals has a cooler prize inside like amazing artificial intelligence, stunning graphics, intense action, and puzzles with many solutions… which brand of cereal are you going to choose?
