When Sin was released, it didn't exactly set the mod community on fire. This was somewhat disappointing, as Ritual went to great lengths to make their game easily editable. Everyone was too absorbed in Quake 2 to look to see what anything else was offering them.

Well, one group of guys liked what they saw and started work on a mod called Cops and Robbers. It was to be a CTF/Jailbreak hybrid with a point system and a lot of interesting features. However, rumors started circulating that Ritual was working on CTF when they thought no one was. Eventually, the guys working on Cops and Robbers figured they couldn't finish it in time for Sin and lent Ritual a hand with SinCTF.

Scott "Aldie" Alden worked on SinCTF over the weekends using Zoid's CTF code as a reference. As it came together, more and more maps were made for it. People from the Cops and Robbers team, from Ritual, and from 3DRealms currently have maps for it, and there may be even more when it's final. Recently, Ritual released the first beta of SinCTF to the public. A little less recently, I went to Dallas to check out SinCTF first hand. Then a truck hit me.

Big deal, you were hit by a truck. What's the game like? (next page)
