I'm no longer typing... Mr. Straight Jacket is making sure of that, but my friend will now type what I dictate.

Ok, type about multiplayer now. No you idiot, you don't type everything I say, just when I say to start typing. Start typing. I said not to type that, don't you understand? Get out of my house, I'm calling someone else. Out damn spot, out. *Sigh*

The multiplayer is much like the "Instant Action" mode I mentioned earlier, but now you get to face real people. There are a lot of specialty Gears to choose from and can be customized how you want, so the next time you play could be completely different then the last. This should keep gamers on their toes and inspire people to max out their Gear's abilities in hopes of dominating all. That isn't necessarily a good thing, but it will keep the game going and should lead to even more advancements as players try to make the best Gear to suits their needs. Camping is something that will be difficult when you're charging around in a huge Gear, but if you pick up a Sniper Laser Cannon for instance and crawl on the ground away from the enemy...who knows, you may be able to get in a few kills before you are detected. The different levels and terrain types mean your Gear will play differently. Some are better suited to a wide-open terrain while others work better in rugged, mountain areas. This will mean everyone will have to adjust to the new terrain, and the game will play differently from map to map.

With all of these features, I hope Heavy Gear 2 will turn out great. It should appeal to both veteran Mech fans and even recruit some new gamers, since the Gears are more mobile and perhaps even familiar to first person shooter fans-although the game is much different from any first person shooter. As of now, Heavy Gear 2 will be released late April, and it promises to be an awesome game. It is definitely one to keep an eye out for.
