You didn't really think we had info on orgies did you?

Multiplayer and Final Thoughts
Revenant does have multiplayer. There will be up to four players in one of several modes. One neat thing about the cooperation mode is that players can come and go as they please. No matter how far you are in the single player campaign, you can always drag along arrow fodder to play with you. Did I say arrow fodder again? I mean 'buddies to aid you in your quests'. Yeah. There are also three other adventurer friends that can choose to aid Locke in his quest.

Bayne - An experienced combatant, very strong and powerful. Didn't he break Batman's back too?
Navarro - A highly intelligent wizard with a knack for spell casting, but they don't always turn out the right way...
Morganna - She is a stealthy and agile assassin who can attack foes from behind to do added damage. How come the women in games are always sleek and agile? Can't we have one axe toting, strong woman who is wearing real clothes for once?

Multiplayer doesn't always have to feature friendly encounters. You can always lop off a friend's head in a dungeon for kicks, or maybe join together against a mutual threat. It isn't a full deathmatch, because you can help or destroy online acquaintances depending on your mood of the moment. There is also a rumor that new multiplayer characters or monsters/items available for download may be a possibility after the game's release. Eidos will be shipping an editor with the game so users can create their own additions. Personally, I'd like to see someone edit in the monkeys from the Wizard of Oz to battle against, or maybe a level that featured an army of battling goats you had to vanquish.

All in all Revenant looks to be one heck of an awesome action RPG. It may lack the "go here, find this" attribute found in many contemporary RPG titles, but that's a good thing! Instead it's focusing on exploration and battle, and I believe this to be a welcome change. Any game that lets you wield a huge sword and fight monsters can't be half bad (excluding a couple exceptions), so why not look into it when it comes out huh? I know I will, and I may even end up outside Eidos wearing a cardboard sign around my neck that says, "Will write for review copy of Revenant. I also know how to ride a tractor. Is that useful to you?" My final, final, (promise) thought is the following: "Revenant will more than likely be a worthy contender in the crowded genre of RPG titles currently preparing to swarm the PC market, so come back to 3DGN and read a review of it when it is released."
