I must say I was never a big fan of team play. All that organization and coordination. You have to plan what you're going to do with a bunch of guys half way across the nation. That comes together…sure… However, when I sat down in the Ritual office and hopped into a CTF game, I was instantly amazed. It wasn't the slow, boring CTF I'd played in games like LMCTF or Q2CTF. SinCTF was exciting.

After a few hours, I figured the primary reason for this. Sin's weapons are made for CTF. Ahem. The modified weapons are made for CTF. "Modified?" you say. Why yes, there have been a couple of changes. Let's start off with the staple of all multiplayer games, the rocket launcher. They added an option called the Thrall Ball. Basically, the Thrall Ball was the thing Thrall threw at you at the end of the game. This beauty sucks away 10 rockets, but it's great for last ditch attempts to kill that bastard flag carrier! It's also a good way to get rid of some annoying prick if you are the bastard flag carrier.

Next, we have the chaingun. This is primarily the same weapon, only they affixed a grenade launcher to it. You just have to push secondary fire to use the grenade launcher, and each grenade takes one rocket. It's always good to have a bunch of exploding projectile things, because nothing adds to the tension more than a huge mass of flaming death.

Ritual also strategically placed user controllable turrets. That's right boys and girls, the same turrets you mow people down with in Sin can now be used to defend your base. The fun thing to do is use a team's turret against them. Teach them to leave that thing unguarded. They're like a crazy person! Leaving the turret all alone! Someone could put an eye out.

Finally, we have the sniper rifle. Yeah! This is what the game is all about. One hit kills. Every time. The guys at Ritual said this does 10,000 points of damage, so if you shoot someone with this, you win. And, there are no annoying laser beams or swirleys to give away your awesome sniper position. Remember kids, in CTF, it's not camping, it's defending.
